VSpin + Access
The VSpin + Access (Agilent) pairs Agilent’s VSpin plate centrifuge with the Access robotic loading door. Designed for high-throughput automated workflows on BioCel platforms — fast cycle times and tight integration with VWorks.
Supported methods
Section titled “Supported methods”- Spin — run with configured speed, duration, and ramp
- Open / close access door — explicit handoff control
- Status query — current speed, lid state, rotor balance, error state
Integration
Section titled “Integration”Revolution drives the VSpin through Agilent’s VWorks automation API. Spin profiles are configured in VWorks and referenced by name from Revolution methods; integration alongside other VWorks-controlled instruments lets the schedule sequence the centrifuge without leaving the Agilent ecosystem.
