A4S Sealer
The A4S Sealer (Brooks Automation) is a heat-seal microplate sealing system. Single-plate cycle in roughly 10 seconds, with adjustable temperature and dwell time for different seal foils and plate types.
Supported methods
Section titled “Supported methods”- Seal — apply a seal to a plate at the handoff position
- Set parameters — temperature, dwell time, pressure
- Status query — current temperature, foil-roll position, cycle count
Integration
Section titled “Integration”Revolution drives the A4S over its serial / USB control interface using the documented Brooks protocol. Seal-foil rolls are loaded manually; Revolution surfaces a “foil low” event ahead of a run so the operator can swap rolls without blocking the schedule.
