PlateLoc
The PlateLoc (Agilent) is a thermal microplate sealer with programmable temperature and dwell time. Common in PCR setup, deep-well storage, and assay sealing where consistent heat application matters.
Supported methods
Section titled “Supported methods”- Seal — apply a seal to a plate at the handoff position with the configured profile
- Set profile — temperature, dwell time, pressure
- Status query — current temperature, foil position, error state
Integration
Section titled “Integration”Revolution drives the PlateLoc through Agilent’s VWorks automation API. Seal profiles are defined in PlateLoc Diagnostics and referenced by name from Revolution methods. Useful side-by-side with the A4S Sealer for workflows that need different sealing temperatures across the same schedule.
