Cytomat SkyLine
The Cytomat SkyLine (Thermo Fisher) is a linear high-capacity plate store designed for large-scale workflows. Capacity scales beyond standard Cytomats (typical configurations 200–600 plates) and supports return of plates with lids.
Supported methods
Section titled “Supported methods”- Load — accept a plate (with or without lid) from a handoff position
- Unload — present a plate by ID, optionally with lid replacement
- Inventory — return the current plate map
- Sequential delivery — pre-queue a batch of plates for a downstream device
Integration
Section titled “Integration”Revolution drives the SkyLine through the same Thermo automation interface as the Cytomat family, with additional commands for lid handling and sequential delivery queues. The inventory is mirrored to Revolution’s Storage Manager.
