TRobot
The TRobot (Analytik Jena) is a thermal cycler designed for automation — the motorised lid lifter lets a robotic mover place plates on the block without an operator. Common in high-throughput library prep, qPCR setup, and end-point PCR workflows.
Supported methods
Section titled “Supported methods”- Run programme — execute a named protocol from the device library
- Stop / abort — graceful interruption with block-cool-down
- Lid up / lid down — explicit lid control for handoff
- Status query — current step, remaining time, block and lid temperature
Integration
Section titled “Integration”Revolution drives the TRobot through Analytik Jena’s automation protocol over serial / TCP. Programmes are loaded onto the device with the qTOWER software and dispatched by ID from Revolution methods.
