rapifleX MALDI-TOF
The rapifleX (Bruker) is a MALDI-TOF/TOF mass spectrometer designed for high-speed proteomics, peptide mapping, and MALDI imaging of tissue sections. Supports linear and reflectron modes with high mass accuracy.
Supported methods
Section titled “Supported methods”- Acquire spectrum — single-spot MALDI acquisition
- Plate scan — full MALDI target plate, well-by-well
- Imaging acquisition — raster scan across a tissue section
- Result export — Bruker .d folders returned for analysis
Integration
Section titled “Integration”Revolution drives the rapifleX through Bruker’s flexControl / Compass automation API. Target plate handling is coordinated with the configured mover; acquired spectra are referenced from the run record for downstream tools like flexAnalysis and SCiLS Lab.
