QuantStudio qPCR
The QuantStudio family (Thermo Fisher) is a line of real-time PCR (qPCR) instruments. Revolution supports the QuantStudio 3, 5, 6 Flex and 7 Flex models — 96-well and 384-well block configurations, multi-channel optics, and full automation through Thermo’s API.
Supported methods
Section titled “Supported methods”- Run protocol — execute a named .edt protocol from the QuantStudio library
- Stop / abort — graceful interruption with block-cool-down
- Result export — pull Cq values and amplification plots after the run
- Status query — current step, remaining time, block temperature
Integration
Section titled “Integration”Revolution drives the QuantStudio through Thermo Fisher’s QuantStudio Real-Time PCR Software automation API. Protocols are designed in Design & Analysis software and referenced by name; per-well Cq results are attached to the run record for downstream analysis.
