BMG Labtech readers
BMG Labtech’s reader family covers a broad range of plate-based assays. Each model supports multiple detection modes; Revolution exposes the supported modes as methods on the configured device.
- SPECTROstar — absorbance (UV/Vis), 200–1000 nm
- PHERAstar — fluorescence intensity, time-resolved fluorescence, FRET, FP, BRET, AlphaScreen, luminescence
- VANTAstar — fluorescence intensity and absorbance with full-spectrum capability
- CLARIOstar — multi-mode with LVF monochromators, AlphaScreen, BRET, TR-FRET

Integration
Section titled “Integration”Revolution drives the readers via BMG’s MARS/Control software with its automation API enabled, dispatching protocol IDs and receiving result files back. Result data is parsed and attached to the run for downstream analysis.
