XPeel
The XPeel (Brooks Automation) is an automated plate seal remover. Pneumatic peel-off lifts heat-applied seals from 96 and 384-well plates cleanly, without splashing well contents.
Supported methods
Section titled “Supported methods”- Peel — remove the seal from a plate at the handoff position
- Eject seal — discard the removed seal to the waste chute
- Status query — air pressure, seal-roll position, cycle count
Integration
Section titled “Integration”Revolution drives the XPeel through its serial / TCP control interface. Seal rolls are loaded manually; Revolution surfaces a “seal roll low” event so the scheduler can alert the operator before a run is blocked.
