OpenLab CDS
OpenLab CDS (Agilent) is a Chromatography Data System for LC, GC, and LC-MS instrumentation. Revolution treats OpenLab CDS as a device endpoint — queueing sample lists, triggering acquisition, and pulling results back into the run record.
Supported methods
Section titled “Supported methods”- Queue sample list — push a worklist generated from a Revolution schedule
- Trigger acquisition — start the queued run
- Pull result — retrieve chromatograms and per-peak quant
- Status query — instrument and queue state
Integration
Section titled “Integration”Revolution communicates with OpenLab CDS through its automation extension (ECM / OpenLab Server REST) — worklists are submitted as XML or CSV, and results are reconciled to the schedule run via sample-ID matching. Useful for integrating chromatography readouts into a wider automated workflow.
